Shipping Information

UK Customers – Brexit Update

Dear Valued UK Customers,

As of January 1, 2021, due to Brexit, all UK orders are tax-exempt. Prices displayed on our website for UK customers do not include VAT. Instead, in accordance with UK customs regulations, VAT is now charged by the UK tax authority when your order arrives in the UK.

Upon arrival, the shipping carrier (DHL, FedEx, etc.) will contact you to process VAT payment before delivering your order.

Shipping Costs & Delivery Timeframes

  • Greece: Free shipping on all orders.
  • Rest of the World: Free shipping on orders over €500.
  • We ship worldwide, except to P.O. boxes.

All orders are shipped using the shipping methods provided on our website.

Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email from our website.
  • When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information.
  • Orders placed on national holidays or weekends will be processed on the next working day.
  • We strive to dispatch all orders within 10 working days, but specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Taxes & Duties

  • European VAT is included in all displayed prices.
  • For orders shipped outside the EU, VAT is automatically deducted at checkout.
  • Import duties and taxes may apply based on your local customs regulations.
  • If applicable, your local customs office will contact you via the shipping carrier for payment before releasing your package.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot determine these charges in advance, as they vary by country. For details, please contact your local tax authority.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 calendar days from the date you receive your package. If you do not notify us within this period, we will be unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, with the safety seal intact.
  • It must be returned in its original packaging.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Made-to-order items are non-refundable. However, in some cases, we may offer an exchange for another item.
  • If an item is made-to-order, we will notify you via email before proceeding with production. If you confirm and proceed with the order, production will begin. If you decide not to proceed, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Sale and discounted items are not eligible for return or refund.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Return shipping timeframes vary depending on your location.
  • We can arrange return shipping for you. If you prefer this option, email customercare@ileanamakri.com with your order number, and we will provide a shipping quote. The return cost (typically €25-€50 depending on your location) will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you choose to return the item using your own shipping method, we recommend using a trackable service such as DHL or FedEx or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email confirming its receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within a few business days.
  • In some cases, partial refunds may be granted for:
    • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error).
    • Items returned more than 15 days after delivery.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as there may be processing delays.
  3. Contact your bank, as refund processing times may vary.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please:
