RETURNS POLICY

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, please review our return policy below.

European Union Customers

In accordance with EU consumer protection legislation, customers residing within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the last item in their order, without providing a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may submit a return or cancellation request directly through your customer account, or contact our Customer Care team at customercare@ileanamakri.com within the 14-day period.

Once your request is submitted, our team will provide instructions for returning your item(s). Returned pieces must be shipped back promptly, in their original condition and packaging, in accordance with the instructions provided.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your cancellation or return request, provided the items have been returned or proof of shipment has been provided.

International Customers (Outside the European Union)

Customers located outside the European Union may request a return for eligible items within 7 calendar days of delivery.

To initiate a return, please submit a request through your customer account or contact our Customer Care team at customercare@ileanamakri.com within this period. All return requests are subject to review and must be approved by our team before any item is sent back.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, all items must:

• Be unworn, unused, and in their original condition
• Have the safety seal attached and intact
• Show no signs of wear, damage, alteration, or use
• Be returned in their original packaging
• Be returned with all certificates, authenticity cards, and accompanying documentation

All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt.

Ileana Makri Fine Jewelry reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above conditions. In such cases, the item will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

• Made-to-order items
• Bespoke commissions
• Personalized or engraved items
• Customized pieces produced to a client's specifications
• Resized items
• Special-order items
• Gift cards

If your ordered piece is not immediately available in stock, we will notify you before proceeding with production. By confirming the order and proceeding with production, you acknowledge that the item is non-returnable and non-refundable.

In certain circumstances and at our sole discretion, we may offer an exchange for another item or issue a credit note.

Return Shipping

Unless an item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Shipping Options

• We can arrange the return shipment on your behalf for a fee of €50, which will be deducted from your refund.

• Alternatively, you may choose to return the item using your preferred courier. In this case, we kindly ask that you notify us before dispatching the return.

Original shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other import-related charges are non-refundable.

You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with returning your item. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service such as DHL or FedEx and purchasing shipping insurance where appropriate. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items that are sent without tracking.

Important: Please do not return any items before contacting us first.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email confirming receipt of the item and advising whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal notice

Please note that your financial institution may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for:

• Items that are not returned in their original condition
• Items that are damaged or missing parts for reasons not attributable to our error
• Items returned outside the applicable return period

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as there may be a delay before the refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.

If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at customercare@ileanamakri.com.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

If you believe you have received a faulty item or an item different from the one ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at customercare@ileanamakri.com with photographs and a detailed description of the issue.

We will review the matter and provide further instructions.
