Travels and civilizations, contemporary forms and organic lines, austerity and charm characterize the creations of Ileana Makri, who, as she claims, designs jewelry "to make every day special".
Regarding the designer Elena Zografou, who creates ethereal unique silk scarves "for a reason" her inspiration derives from the depots of cultures. Her latest work features a series of enhanced jewels derived from the Neolithic, Minoan and Mycenaean civilizations, the Golden Age and the Hellenistic period and have been imprinted in the most elegant way in her work.
In her final piece to the collection named “Kleio”, Elena is inspired by the work of Greek jewellery designer Ileana Makri and together they collaborate on the design for the final scarf of the series. The design features pieces from Ileana’s renowned Evil Eye, Again and Queens collections. Ileana’s pieces "paint" the frame of the sixth scarf, depicting the “contemporary era” of the collection.
