All orders are delivered using the shipping methods provided by this website. We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders over €250. You will receive a confirmation email from our website as soon as you have placed your order. You will then be notified via e-mail to your registered e-mail address when your order has been dispatched with tracking information for your package. If an order is placed on national holidays or weekends, it will be processed on the following working day.
MAKRI S.A. makes every effort to dispatch items within 10 working days, however we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
All our prices include the European VAT. All orders with shipping address located outside the EU are exempt of this tax and your tax discount will be calculated automatically at checkout.
All our products are shipped from Greece. If you place an order and the shipping address provided is located outside the EU, then please keep in mind that import duties and taxes may incur by the local custom office upon the package’s arrival at the airport. We cannot determine beforehand what these duties will entail for each territory. For further information please contact your local tax authority.
Where we Ship

We have a very strict Returns Policy that lasts 7 calendar days. If 7 days have gone by since you received your order, and you have not notified us with your request for a return, then you will not be eligible for a refund. In some cases, we may accept to exchange your order for another item or credit note. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with the safety seal attached and in tact. It must also be in the original packaging.
We do not accept returns for refunds on pieces that are made-to-order. In some cases, we may accept to exchange it for another item. If the piece you ordered is not available in immediate stock then we will notify you by email that it will need to be made-to-order and await confirmation before proceeding with producing your piece. If we receive confIrmation that you would like to proceed with the order, then production will commence, alternatively a full refund will be applied automatically to your credit card or original method of payment.
We offer Free Worldwide shipping on all orders, however customers are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us may vary.
If you would like us to schedule the return for you, then please send us an email to email@example.com quoting your order number and we will send you a quote for returning your item(s) and this amount will be deducted from your refund (usually between €25-€50 depending on your territory)*.
If you choose to return the item using another shipping method, we propose using a trackable shipping service like DHL or Fedex or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If it is cared for properly, fine jewelry can become a treasured family heirloom. It needs to be loved and treated well so it can be enjoyed for generations to come.
To clean your jewelry yourself, brush delicately with a very soft small brush in lukewarm soapy water, then carefully rinse it in lukewarm water and wipe it with a soft cloth.
Avoid any kind of contact with household bleach or cleaning products, which will quickly cause gold to discolour and possibly disintegrate. Prevent your jewelry from coming into contact with hair spray, deodorants and perfumes. Take off your jewelry when swimming or bathing.
When not wearing your fine jewelry, Store it carefully in its original pouch or box or another suitably lined box or pouch and try not to let the pieces touch to avoid scratching.
Take care to protect your jewelry from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. Even a diamond can chip if hit with enough force or at just the right angle. Many stones such as amethyst, emerald, opal, pearl, peridot, tanzanite and tourmaline are very delicate and easily abraded. Enamel and Ceramic finishes can also chip or scratch when struck. Gemstones can scratch other gemstones and wear away at precious metals. Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning and household chemicals can also damage jewelry.
To clean diamonds, use a mild solution of six parts water to one part ammonia and apply with a soft bristle brush.
Dust, pollution and daily wear all conspire to cloud the brilliance of gemstones. The surface of gold and silver jewelry can become dulled. Timeworn prongs and clasps can result in the loss of a stone or an entire piece of jewelry.

Sterling Silver Jewelry
Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. With proper care, your silver will retain its beauty and character for many generations to come.
Sterling silver tarnishes, especially when exposed to salt air and products containing sulfur, such as rubber bands and some papers. However, silver that is regularly used typically needs less care, so we strongly encourage you to wear your silver every day.
To clean your silver jewelry, use a small amount of silver jewelry cleaner on a soft cloth and gently rub the silver several times. Then rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new. Please note: chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided. Once cleaned and polished, silver must be kept dry and properly stored.
*Please note: An oxidized finish is the blackening of a silver object to make its decorative details stand out. Take care as overzealous cleaning and polishing can remove this finish.
Vermeil Plated Jewelry
If you would like to clean your gold vermeil jewellery wash it with a small amount of gentle dish soap or non-chemical soap and warm water. Rinse it well and allow to dry on a cloth or paper towel. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or jewellery cloth and gently rub the surface in a circular motion to clean.
Gold Vermeil is a thin layer of 18k gold, plated over a piece of solid Sterling Silver jewelry. Gold Vermeil will eventually wear off, revealing the silver beneath. Earrings and necklaces will keep their plating longer than rings. Plating will wear off faster on rings that are worn everyday. To minimize the wear of vermeil plating please avoid contact with water and rough surfaces. Plated jewelry does not tarnish like silver. If you would like to have your piece re-plated, please email us or bring your piece to our store for servicing. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges for re-plating.
Tarnish or darkening of the metal, is caused by oxidization of the surface layer of metal. It occurs over time with exposure to air and moisture. Wearing your jewelry in the water or during bathing will speed up tarnishing. Storing your jewelry in a dry airtight container will inhibit tarnish.
